The short version: your music and recordings never leave your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking.
What stays on your phone
Songs you add, recordings you make, ideas you hum, and your settings are saved only on your phone. We never see them. Pocket Jam has no account, no cloud storage, no ads and no tracking inside the app. It works without internet.
Microphone
The app asks to use your microphone. It only listens while you record, capture an idea, or use the tuner. Nothing it hears is sent anywhere.
Sharing your music
When you export a recording and share it, it goes only where you choose to send it, like WhatsApp or your files. After that, the app you sent it to handles it.
Deleting your data
Delete a song or recording in the app and it’s gone. Uninstall the app and everything it saved is removed from your phone.
Google Play
You download Pocket Jam from Google Play, so Google handles your download and any payment, under Google’s privacy policy. Google may share basic crash and performance reports with us (for example, “the app crashed on this phone model”). These do not include your music or recordings.
This website
If you join our email list, we keep your email, your instrument, your phone type and your answer to the price question. We use it only to tell you about Pocket Jam. The form is run by our web host, Netlify. We never sell or share your details. Every email has a way to stop getting them, or just ask us to delete your details.
Children
Pocket Jam doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
